Alaskan Adventure: Day 63. Kenai Fjords Tour by boat. All day tour of Resurrection Bay and and Aialik Bay on the “Alaskan Explorer” boat.

The foggy morning view of the mountain by our campsite. Wondered if we would see much from the boat. It all worked out as the cloud layer gradually lifted higher until we had sunshine by the end of the day.

We were seeing wildlife in the marina before we got on the boat.

This is Holgate Glacier. We did not go up close to this as we passed by on our way to the bigger Aialik Glacier.

More ice calving. It was awesome to hear the ice cracking and roaring as it crashed down.

Cirque Glaciers in Resurrection Bay as we were returning to Seward. We went past these at the beginning of the trip but at that time they were hidden in the clouds.
